Keisha Lance Bottoms has won the Governor’s seat in Georgia, claiming a decisive victory over Republican businessman, Rick Jackson.

Jackson conceded early, after determining he lacked enough votes to cross the finish line.

Incumbent U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff’s win against GOP Rep. Mike Collins was called soon after polls closed, as well.

The two top-ticket wins mean that Georgia is blue again via the governorship and Senate. It turned blue in 2020 when Joe Biden won the state. Prior to that, the Georgia had not voted for a Democratic presidential nominee since 1992 with Bill Clinton.

Other key statewide races included the Lieutenant Governor, Public Service Commission, State Superintendent, Secretary of State, and Attorney General—all of which Democrats are projected to sweep.

Lieutenant Governor-elect Josh McLaurin, Attorney General-elect Tanya Miller, Secretary of State-elect Penny Brown Reynolds and Representative for Georgia's 5th district Nikema Williams all took victories in their races as results continued to roll in across the state.

In Fulton County, Mo Ivory is projected to win the race for Fulton Commission Chairperson, while Rohit Malhotra claimed his victory in the District 4 Fulton County Commission Special Election, unlike campaigning on economic mobility, government transparency, small business support and community safety.
